The fact of the matter is . . .

I was feeling down and angry at the world so I closed my blog off because I felt that my Q&A was too depressing and well, angry. Now I don't want you to think I had a horrible day or don't love being a mom. These are just thoughts I've had and they were kind of building up. I've mulled it over for a few days and decided to open it up, not delete the post, and if people really want to know the truth without judging me too harshly, well then, there it is.
I have discovered though, how to combat these moods of negativity:
Peace and Quiet.
"What?" you say.
Here is how you get peace and quiet according to Asher. He told me today he knows how to get peace and quiet and showed me how. So, if you need a little peace and quiet, here's what you do:

And this is what Eden is doing right behind Asher.

(That's right, coloring on my piano books. Now you understand why I need a little peace and quiet.)

Just so you know, what little we can see of your house in those pictures proves that your house is waaaay cleaner than my house! Hope that makes you feel a little better!

I have actually been asking myself some of those same Q&A questions lately. And, I doubt we are the only ones. You have no idea how it helped me Wed when you took my girls to school and had Audrey over for dinner. I was in the middle of my own meltdown. And, I am terrible about asking for help. I am trying to get better about that. (And be better at offering help too!)
In the mean time, I may try Asher's method for finding peace and quiet. Jonathan hasn't stopped talking for the past 3 hours. I love him, but I can't finish a thought without interruption.

So while your blog was down a little box popped up every two seconds on my computer saying "you need the password for imnotthecreativewittytype etc. So for that alone, thanks for opening your blog back up! But more importantly, because I love to read it! I am all about Asher's relaxation method. Although yoga isn't that relaxing when my kids are jumping on my back and yelling at me to turn it off...

This post cracks me up. I love what your kids are doing in the photos. Well, at least you were able to see the humor in all of it.
