7500 hours practicing violin and piano
24 buttons busted while watching children perform

1 kid added to the family
10 years added to my life
22 the amount of times people have asked me if we are "done"

500 meals delivered through "Meals on Wheels"
50 the number of times one of my meals on wheels recipient has said "you look too young to have 4 children."
50 the number of times that compliment made me feel good. (Yes, I am that needy!)

33 times Eden colored somewhere she shouldn't (books, walls, body, beds, etc.)
33 times cleaning and doing consequences before I finally got smart and threw away the markers

Wow, I bet Mara practiced the violin more this year than I have practiced it in my whole life!...and you may think I am joking, but I'm not.
Nice talking to you today! I like it when you update your blog :). I always see it when you do since it's on my reader.

I liked this - it was fun. You only had 13 moments of "this is madness?" I beat you on that one, by about 300! :) That is cool that people think you look too young to have four kids. I haven't heard that one. Ever. (About me).

Wow! Who knew? And Rachel-- I meant to say 13 moments A DAY (I fixed it.) Also, the lady who tells me I'm too young to have 4 kids tells me that EVERY WEEK so that tells you how mentally sound she is. But, I'll take what I can get.

Love reading your blog and you do look way too young, too slim, too beautiful, too together to have 4 children. You are very awesome and I am only a little prejudiced on your behalf. Thanks for making my day by adding a new post

Clever, creative idea--I love it! Um, so you're actually lying when you call your blog "I'm not the creative, witty type".

Anyway, I'm still here. I love reading your blog, so keep 'em coming!

I'm still reading your blog, although it's been a while since I checked back! I love this post - what a unique way to sum up your year! I'm with you on the "are you done yet" comments and the lack of sleep... you'd think with so many mothers living in this world people would stop acting like it's such an anomaly.
