It was great to catch up on your blog, I feel like I haven't checked many peoples blogs in a while, so I have a lot to catch up on! Sounds like you and your family had a great summer, and now you have a beautiful new baby!!! Seriously, Luisa, you are one of the most beautiful pregnant women I know!!! I wish I could look half that good right now! What your newest angel's name? She's absolutely perfect, well done!!!
I just stopped by to get caught up and I loved this post! You look so great! I love that you look gorgeous with short or long hair. Also, re: the "womanly things" post, a hint about the eyelash curler--it can be used specifically when you DON"T wear mascara (which I didn't for decades)--vaseline + eyelash curler=glam without makeup. Also, all those accoutrments are for people who are not naturally beautiful, so don't feel left out. You make cute babies and that's as womanly as anybody needs to be!
The last 2 days my kids have been like cats and dogs, evidenced by the following song of Asher's-- Asher to Mara: It'll be a good Christmas, without you. (Sung to the tune of Blue Christmas) At least my children are creative and musical when it comes to insulting.
Eden: I'm going to the temple. It's a princess temple. It's pink.
Cousin: I'm the best! Asher: Well, I'm the best of the best and that's better than the best!
Make it, Eat it, Love it
BLENDER QUICHE
This recipe is so awesome b/c it is versatile and of course, my catchphrase-- fast, easy and yummy.
Spray a 2 liter casserole dish with non-stick spray.
Sprinkle with 1 c. cheddar cheese (or more, I always do more cheese, why not?)
Sprinkle with 1/2 c. cooked meat (I've used chicken, ham even leftover turkey. I use closer to 1 c. meat. Just eyeball it.)
Sprinkle with 1/2 c. vegetable (I've used frozen broccoli, frozen and fresh spinach, fresh shredded zucchini. Whatever.)
In a blender combine
3 eggs1/2 c. bisquick
1/2 tsp. saltdash garlic powder
1 TBSP minced onion flakes
1 1/2 c. milk1/3 c. olive oil
2 TBSP chopped fresh parsley.
Blend until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in 375 oven for 40 minutes. I find I have to bake it for more so just check it. Sprinkle with paprika if desired. My kids eat this with ketchup. But, Eden would eat ketchup on everything if I let her. One pan is usually finished off by us.

Gotta say, lovin' the "afters." :)
Congrats! She's adorable. She seems to have a lot of personality, too, or at least that's what I'm gathering from the photo.
love the maternity shot!!!
That was great! Those are good shots of you, by the way.
