To be grateful

1. I'm grateful my kids don't have the swine flu.

2. I'm grateful that they've thrown up 3 nights in succession (one at a time, taking turns like good kids should) and didn't spread it out over a few weeks or all get sick at once.

3. I'm grateful that I'm stuffed up so I couldn't really smell the vomit.

4. I'm grateful that my kids didn't have to miss school because of their sickness.

5. I'm grateful that I didn't have piano lessons the days they got sick.

6. I'm grateful Jason was home last night so I could get a break and some sleep.

So, as you can see, I have had a lot to be grateful for this week. What about you?

Now, that is the way to look on the bright side. I remember one time, when I had strep, I was grateful that nobody died or was seriously injured while I was conked out in bed.

okay, you've probably had them there forever, but i just read your "quotables" section! it's awesome. the circus one and darth vader ones are my favorite....and i'm thankful i didn't live in your house this week:) just kidding! i'd live in your house anytime, even if it meant i would be throwing up all the time:)

Hey what's up? I never know if you are blogging or not. I'm grateful none of us have come down with the swine and that my cold seems to be going away. With all the germs I come in contact with each day I'm amazed I've survived this long. My kids do this fabulous thing where they throw up by themselves. Grace threw up this morning and I didn't even know about it. She wasn't super sick though, just a little puke. She owes us for the time she came into our room in the middle of the night to tell us she was sick and then proceeded to vomit all over us.

Sounds like a tough week. Stomach sickness is the worst.
I absolutely love your quotables! I don't usually read them because I read blogs in my rss reader. Your kids are amazingly hilarious and wise.
