A Lesson in being STUBBORN

I know, I know, I just did a post about Mara so you'll have to forgive me.
Mara brought home her reading book and started and read the main character's name as "Sa-ha".

Me "Mara, it is 'Sasha'".
Mara "I know, I just wanted to say it 'Sa-ha'".

She then proceeded to read the whole book and call the main character "Sa-ha".

Of course. Always stand your ground, girl. You never know when it will be really important.

That made me chuckle - I have had some very similar conversations with a couple of girls in my house! Maybe it's a girl thing:)

I read that book. I totally called the girl Sa-ha the whole time too.

This reminds me so much of myself! I was totally insistent as a child that my pronunciation of any word was the right way to say it. I was convinced the name Phoebe was pronounced "fobe".
