Mormons are "smug"

I found this article on the Deseret Morning News website as I was trying to find a house. Yes, that is why I haven't posted. It's a little consuming. My house is a disaster, my kids had goulash for dinner (meaning, I threw all kinds of random things into a pan with some sauce and called it a meal.) I won't go into it too much but it may be that we won't have a house by the 27th of this month. Anyone know of any good places in Pleasant Grove?
I read this article and thought it was pretty fun. One thing that frustrates me in the LDS religion is that it seems so many people have a hard time disagreeing. Even people within the religion seem to feel that we need to be on the same page about everything. But, oh my word, if I had to scrapbook I'd poke out my eyeballs first. Seriously. I have no artistic inklings and it would drive me crazy. But if someone else likes it, great for them. You don't have to scrapbook to be a good, mormon, SAHM. So many people are afraid to express an opinion and can't stand to disagree on things. It's okay. We can be different and still get along. I loved this article because people can disagree on issues, joke about them and still get along. It's ok. Really.

Did you sell your house? I didn't know you were even looking to move, that's pretty exciting. I want details, what's goin on? :)

You can't leave us hanging like that! Why are you out of a house? I hear something every week in church that I disagree with. If I voice my opinion (rarely) people either pretend I said something else or they ignore it. I'm sure they all think I'm crazy because I think the statement "LDS mothers do families better than anyone" is a tad insensitive. sigh.

I'll read the article in a second -- but I'm stuck on the idea of being without a house by the end of this month. ??? Sounds stressful.

Hey Luisa, I, too, didn't know you were moving. What's up with that? You're looking for something bigger? Your house seems great. Anyway, give me more details. And, hey, you're a Blogger- one step closer to a SCRAPBOOKER!!!
